When we interviewed Adam Coussins a little while
ago, he mentioned that he played Futsal and loved the game.
We did a little research and what we found was
worth posting about! Well we thought so!
It sounds awesome! If you don’t know Futsal, then check it out. This link will
take you to the UK Futsal website.
In the meantime here are 10 reasons to play
Futsal (taken from futsaluk.net – all copyrights to them).
Many thanks to Adam for allowing us to use his
photos in (and out of!) his Futsal kit! And boy doesn’t he look hot in it!
10 reasons to play
Futsal
Easy to
play. Just like playing normal 11-a-side football, but indoors
World class teams like Brazil, Spain and Portugal
with world class players like Ronaldo, Robinho, Kaka and Fabregas have
developed by playing Futsal. Here are ten simple reasons why you should play
Futsal - join the global revolution now!
1. Rewards
Futsal develops the same basic technique, skills, tactics and knowledge of the game as the 11v11 outdoor game.

In a statistical study comparing futsal to indoor arena soccer with walls, players touch the ball 210% more often which will increase a player’s ball competency.

7. Knowledge
With four on-court players, plus a goalkeeper that can join in the play, all the basic components of the outdoor game are present. As the action is non-stop, players are able to develop an improved technical understanding of futsal very quickly.
