We have already featured the awesome all American hunk Chris Lykins at Stunning Men, but now that he has joined AllAmericanGuys.com, we wanted to show his work with photographer extraordinaire Michael Anthony Downs.

Chris also very kindly accepted our invitation to an interview and was very open in his answers. Check it out at the end of this post!

My first reaction to the brand new photos was "great shots but Chris doesn't show much of his stunning physique" ... Chris told me that for a first shoot they decided to take it slowly (oh the tease!), but he also told me that Mike Downs is planning another shoot later on this year, around March, involving water ... a seaside shoot would be awesome! We will have to wait and see ...

"Working out is my drug, my way to escape reality, you can catch me in the gym everyday, occasionally I'll take a rest day if I need one."

These words spoken by Chris, only serve to illustrate his dedication to achieving the best physique as he possibly can.

StunningMen – Chris, this is such pleasure to welcome you at Stunning Men and be ableto interview you.

ChrisLykins – Thank you, the pleasure is all mine!

SM – To start off, could you tell us a little aboutyourself and your background?

CL – Ilived in Niles, Ohio my whole life and graduated from Niles McKinley. Afterhigh school I had no idea what I wanted to do and was just lost. My friends hadhelped me out a lot and after I graduated I ended up going to a small collegewith some friends to play football. I really didn’t like it at all and I endedup withdrawing after the football season. I then moved down to North Carolinato live with my dad.

SM – Thismust have been a huge decision for you.

CL – Yes,it was a really big move but it was just something I needed to do for myselfand it turned out to be the best decision of my life. I ended up joining theArmy soon after the move and I loved it. I had nothing to lose but everythingto gain. The army played a huge role in my success; the experience reallykicked me into gear and pushed me to make something of myself.

SM - What about University?

CL - After I finishedtraining I was accepted into Fayetteville State University where I studiedComputer Science for about a year and a half. I can never get situated nor amever satisfied with anything I do because I always want something better. Iwanted another change so I decided to apply to East Carolina University and Iwas accepted so I had to move again. This is my second semester here and I loveit.

SM – Wereyou already into fitness at a young age?

CL – Growingup I was always into sports and played just about everyone possible in schoolor out of school, so staying fit was part of the job. Fitness really became apassion, a hobby of mine when my dad first taught me how to lift weights. Healways preached to me that “it’s not about how much weight you can lift, it’sall about how you lift.” I took what he taught me and started doing a lot ofresearch on different routines and just amplified what I learned from him.

SM - What about your diet?

CL - OnceI finally got the correct form down lifting weights I had to start eating rightwhich was the hardest part because I love food, who doesn’t right? My dad alsogot me started with a good diet, just the basics but I really had the most helpfrom my mom who has been a personal trainer for years and a nutritionist aswell and if it weren’t for her I probably would have never figured out theproper ways to eat, when to eat or what to eat. I know I drove her crazy alwaysasking what I should eat but I appreciated every last bit of help I got fromher and if it weren’t for her and my dad I would not be as successful as I amnow.

SM – Youare now studying Health Fitness I believe; what are you planning to do withthis?

CL – Yes,I am. I changed my major to Health Fitness Specialist and I will finish myundergrad at East Carolina University. Once I graduate I am going to move outto California to pursue a career in modelling and hopefully acting. With mydegree I would love to train corporate business or even be nutritionists for actors/actressesand I feel I would really be successful considering I am pursuing a career inmodelling and I actually put my knowledge of fitness and nutrition to usepersonally for my success as a model.

SM – Youhave been in the US Army for 3 years now; what do you enjoy the most?

CL – Ienjoy the adventure the most and of course all the hands on training andtactics. It’s definitely something you don’t get to experience everyday andisn’t your typical desk job. There are a lot of opportunities and I love totravel so it’s a great opportunity to see what else is out there and experiencenew places.

SM – Was modelling something you wanted to do growingup? How did this come about?

CL – Modellingwas always in the back of my mind since my dad was a model/bodybuilder and Ihave always been competing with him because I always wanted to do bigger andbetter things than he did. It took a lot of hard work, determination anddedication but I am still not satisfied yet. Modelling really started to pickup when I trained with my stepmom and prepared for my first bodybuildingcompetition where I entered in the Men’s Physique division and after the show Iwas getting a lot of compliments and that was the biggest motivation to pursuemodelling and fitness.

SM – Howdo you prepare before a shoot?

CL – A lotof cardio! With my body type a low-carb, no-carb diet works the best and is theeasiest way for me to cut fat and water weight. It takes a lot out of me andall I think about is pizza or junk food, but my drive overpowers my cravingsand I push myself to the limits because of my passion for modelling and beingsuccessful. It really is the best achievement knowing that I have the power andwill to push myself like that. That to me is the biggest success and in the endis always a great reward.

SM – Whatdo you enjoy the most about modelling?

CL – Ienjoy the experiences of trying new things and to me a picture is worth athousand words. I am always critiquing myself, like they say “you are yourworst critic” but when I receive compliments from others about the work that Ihave done that really inspires me that I am not doing this for nothing, thatthese people can see my passion for this and hopefully they are inspired justas much as I am.

SM – Youhave worked with some amazing photographers. Do you have a favourite shoot?

CL – Ireally enjoyed working with Eric Battershell, we got really creative and justhad a lot of fun with it and did several themes. I loved the opportunity I gotfrom Michael Downs who selected me to shoot for AllAmericanGuys, this was ahuge deal for me and the biggest compliment that I could get to be placed withthe best male fitness models around. He is an amazing photographer and knowshow to capture my best attributes and qualities. I am looking forward toanother shoot with him soon.

SM – Youhave an amazing physique. What kind of exercises do you do to keep in top shape?

CL – I amalways switching my routines up, I never go into the gym and do the same thing.The majority of my physique comes from the kitchen, it’s all about “how you eatand what you eat” what I do in the gym is just a bonus. I go off on how I amfeeling that day; that decides what I actually work on. The weekends I stillweight train but I sometimes incorporate cross-fit which is absolutelyincredible and really pushes your body to its max. I sometimes go to thefootball stadium and run the steps and ramps, another crucial full bodyworkout.

SM– Besides modelling, what gets your interest and what are your hobbies?

CL – Sports of all varieties. I love trying new things andwill do just about anything. The things I have done so far and interest me areBrazilian Jiu Jitsu, MMA, boxing, swimming, running, weight training,cross-fit, diving, dancing, football, basketball, baseball, softball,racquetball, 4-wheeling, dirt bikes, snowboarding, fishing, river-rafting,hunting, surfing, jet-skiing, parasailing, clubbing, beach volleyball, watchingmovies and hanging out with friends.

SM – What do you do to have fun and relax?

CL – Tohave fun I like to go out with friends clubbing or just sit in front of a bigscreen TV eat pizza and wings and enjoy the game. I listen to music and justget in a trance to relax and I tend to research nutrition and ways I canachieve the best physique I can.

SM – Do youhave any role models? People who inspire you?

CL – Myparents are my biggest role models and inspire me the most. There are severalother models that really helped me out and gave me a lot of tips which isreally appreciated and are a part of my success.

SM – Nowa few fun questions if we may? Do you think you are a good date?

CL – Inever had any complaints before so I would say so, I am a very outgoing personand can relate to just about everything, and sometimes I can be goofy. I thinkit’s good to have some sense of humour, just chill and relax.

SM –What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

CL – Myjunior year in high school, 16 at the time for spring break I literally packedmy stuff and drove 7 hours straight to go visit my dad in Kentucky. My momwasn’t too thrilled about that one considering I left without telling anyone.

SM – Areyou a brief man or a boxer kinda guy?

CL – Briefs,much more comfortable.

SM – Whatdo you listen to on your iPod?

CL – WhenI work out for the most part I will listen to trance and when I am trainingheavy I like to listen to Linkin Park. Other than that I listen to anything.

SM – Onelast question Chris, where do you see yourself and what would you like to bedoing in 10 years time?

CL – Hopefullyin 10 years, my modelling will take me into acting and I will be happy justhaving small roles on TV or even better in movies which is my ultimate goal andwork with the best.

ManuscriptPhotography are based in Saint Petersburg, Florida, US. They focus on beautifulimages that reveal a deeper story. Their style leans toward classical maleportraiture, but with a decidedly modern edge. Strong, bold lines are favoured, with bright, vivid colours. They also sometimesexperiment with black and white. Manuscript Photography only shoot during theday, using natural light and rely only sparingly on the flash.

They prefera simple approach to editing, applying a light hand to retouching andphotoshop. While the creativity behind many "concept" shoots isappreciated, it is not something that appeals to them as artist. They are muchmore drawn to the unique personality of the subject being photographed ratherthan projecting some fantasy of their own onto them.

Stunning Men – Hi Joel, welcome to Stunning Men andthank you for taking part to this interview.

Joel Evan Tye – Ciao! Happy to be here friend, thanks.

SM – First of all, how do you prefer to be called?Joel or JET?

JET – I’m called both, they’re both my name so I’venever really been taken aback if someone was to use one or the other.

SM – OK JET, you are a recording artist but have alsodone modelling. What came first? The music or the modelling?

JET – The desire to be a singer came first. I was a mute, out of social anxiety andgender anxiety I recoiled into my bedroom and didn’t communicate with anyonefor almost ten years of my life. Thenone day when I was 18, a voice in my head told me I needed to learn how tosing. It was through singing I learnedhow to speak, and so on.

SM – Is one more important than the other in yourlife?

JET – They are both expressions of a higher part ofmyself, so I hold them both very close to my heart.

SM – What do you enjoy the most as a recording artist?

JET – The costumes! And orchestrating a team of people on each project. Everything from creating the concept behindthe lyrics, to rehearsing for live shows with dancers, to shooting the musicvideos, it’s such a rush!

SM – You describe your music as Pop, Dance,Electronica. Could you elaborate on that?

JET – I’ve never really been able to stay consistentin my sound, but I always work with producers that will compose the songs withelectronic elements and lots of reverb on the voice. Basically I leave the music in the hands ofothers and I handle the lyrics and the messages behind the lyrics.

SM - You speak Japanese and Italian. How did this come about?

JET - I started studying Japanese when I was eleven or so. I loved video games and I found out some of my favorite games were also Japanese tv shows. There is actually a japanese saturday school in Mesa, AZ, which I went to up through my junior year of high school. I continued to study Japanese in college. Truth be told I never had much practice with it and so my speaking skills are aweful, lol. The same is true of my Italian skills. I started Italian when I applied for a music major in college. I failed the entry audition, but of all the languages one studies in the music school, I really enjoyed studying italian because the vowel structure is similar to Japanese, so I took it for five semesters.

SM – You have an amazing physique. What kind ofexercises do you do to keep in top shape? Do you practise any sports?

JET – I’m very disciplined in the gym. I keep a log of all the exercises I do andtry to increase the weight or the amount of reps on an exercise each trip. I also do a lot of cardio to keep my spiritsup.

SM –You have some amazing shots, some quite provocative but striking. Do you likebeing a bit ‘in your face’? And is it also true as a performer?

JET –I like playing dress-up, the outfits inspire characters in me. When I perform I’m just playing pretend, andcostumes with lots of skin are just easier to move in. If something I’m wearing is typically meantfor girl I don’t really care, if I feel awesome in it then I wear it. I try not to think about if I’m going tooffend people with what I wear. Thetruth is, you wouldn’t think it odd for a girl to wear a lot of the things Iwear, so you shouldn’t think it odd for me either because we’re all made of amix of masculine and feminine energies, we’re all really one and the same.

SM –You have done some fashion modelling. How was that? How does it compare withfitness modelling?

JET –As I said I like playing dress up, so by far fashion is more suited to mytastes, but the poses and whatnot for fitness modeling are instinctual to mewhen I get in front of the camera, and people enjoy my fitness work, so I enjoydoing it from time to time.

SM –Is there a photographer you haven’t worked with and would really like to andwhy?

JET –Annie Leibovitz, because she has an incredible imagination.

SM – Your work is very edgy and includes a fair amount ofnudity. How important nudity is for you in your work?

JET – To be truthful, when I modelled nude for photographers I did not know it was considered inappropriate or something people didn't do at the time. I lived a very sheltered life so the idea of pornography was alien to me, other than the fact that porn was a type of sex video. I didn't know nude modelling was considered porn or that my photos would be interpreted that way. Historically, nude images in sculptures and paintings were a part of human culture, and so I was not aware that we as people consider the photograph of the human body any different. Not to mention, we all have a body, we've all seen our bodies nude, so it was odd to me that we would find an image of another's body shocking. When I was being photographed nude it didn't feel any different to me than when I was modelling with clothes, except in this case I was more conscious of the position of body parts the way I was previously conscious of the flow of fabrics. If one wants to be comfortable in a nude shoot, one first needs to be secure with his or her own body, never judging it as bad in any way and aware that he or she is equal to all, for all are in ownership of a body. Next, he or she should recognise that he or she has been chosen to be the subject of a work of art, and that should be inspiring, for how wonderful is it to know you are being considered a masterpiece?

SM – Do you have any role models in the music ormodelling world? People who inspired you?

JET – Madonna is a huge inspiration to me because shemanifests everything she imagines and has an incredible work ethic and healthregiment.

SM – If you weren’t a recording artist, what would yoube doing?

JET – One of those Real Housewives of BeverlyHills. I really like their shoes andgoing out to lunch.

SM – You have a website. Could you tell us what we canexpect to see there and what we would learn about JET?

JET – My current hub site iswww.iamsirjet.blogspot.com. It’s a blogwhere I share things I’ve learned through experience or read that I want toshare with people. The material is in conjunctionwith my upcoming ebook: I’m Enough: How to Live Life Like a Popstar and FindYour True Self in the Process. I wascriticized and told what to do most of my life, people telling me I wasn’t goodenough, wasn’t talented enough, wasn’t good looking enough, etc., and myresponse was simply “I am good enough, and you would see that if you allowedyourself to feel like you were good enough too.” The book is about how we can take care ofourselves and become able to accept everything and everyone that comes our wayso that our life experiences are always harmonious.

SM – Do you have any motto you live by?

JET – My mind is a center of Divine operation, andDivine operation means expansion into something better than has gonebefore. - Thomas Troward

SM – Now a few fun personal questions if we may? Doyou think you are a good date?

JET – I sure am, put out almost every time!

SM – What kind of clothes do you like wearing when youare not performing?

JET – Pretty much toned-down versions of myperformance clothes: tight shirts that emphasize my cleavage, jeans that hug mylegs, shoes that have a little bit of lift, belts with large buckles, gothicand fetish jewelry, and of course plenty of black eyeliner and glitter nailpolish.

SM – What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

JET – I thought I could act like a normal guy forcommercial auditions. I tried this about10 times before I realised it was impossible.

SM – Are you a brief man or a boxer kinda guy?

JET – Thongs

SM – What do you listen to on your iPod?

JET – Anime theme songs and kpop. My current faves are Kara’s “Step,” 4Minute’s“Highlight,” and the soundtrack to the series “Nana.”

SM – One last question JET, where do you see yourselfand what would you like to be doing in 10 years time?

JET – I’m a mainstream global pop icon living ina stream of abundance and positive productivity. I travel all around the world performing insold-out concerts, helping people with my music and image, inspiring them tolive their lives to the fullest and feel awesome.

So we are very excited at Stunning Men to witness their awesome debut in the fitness modelling world and feature them alongside some photos from the shoot they recently did with great London photographer Justin Tayler.

Owen and Lewis do nearly everything together and are training partners. They have been training for about 6 years and try to keep their bodies to similar proportions. Of course there are a few differences; you will soon manage to distinguish one from the other ... Owen claims he's got the better abs, and perhaps he is right :-), he also has a chest/shoulder/arm tattoo while Lewis, who insists he has bigger better pecs, again he is probably right, sports an colourful arm tattoo.

I couldn't chose between them, and wouldn't want to, to be honest! They are both magnificent guys with bodies as trimmed and cut as they can be. Their body fat % must be awesomely low!

They push themselves constantly, one brother helping and supporting the other. One of their goals is to jointly win a body building competition. With the hard work and the unfaltering dedication to their training, Owen and Lewis could very well be the first pair of twins to achieve that!

The boys state that they are interested in "weight training (I think it shows just a little bit :-), Mixed Martial Arts, getting tattooed, looking fucking essence and tanned!" Well, what do you expect, they are young and living the life!

StunningMen – Joe, this is such a pleasure and an honour to welcome you to

StunningMen and be able to interview you.

JoePutignano – Thank you, it’s my pleasure.

SM –You are currently in London, starring in Totem with Cirque du Soleil. How didyou become an acrobat and contortionist?

JP –I started gymnastics when I was 8 years old and competed nationallyuntil I was 18. I stoppedathletics during this time and never wanted to do another handstand, back flip orsplit again. I was finished with the sport and all its difficulties. When I was27, I was working atthe New York Times newspaper and read an article about a contortionist. I was mesmerised by this art form, and out ofsheer curiosity decided to take a class. I fell back in love with a romance I swore to never embrace again. Iset a goal and worked relentlessly to achieve it, failing miserably, time andtime again, but ultimately never giving up.

SM –You have been in this show for over two years, the training regime must beintense!

JP –The training regime is very intense, but Ioften overtrain. Lifting weights has become a cathartic therapy for me. It’s meand my iPod, the music, the weights, the destination and I am the only obstacle in its path. I amconfronting myself in the physical form and this meditation becomes my perfect solitude.

SM –You have done a fair amount of modelling too; how did this come about?

JP –I did a show in New York City called BroadwayBares and a photographer named Adam Raphael came up to me and said, “I have to shoot you, I won’t takeno for an answer.”

SM –How different is it from acrobatics? I mean how do you see the whole modellingthing compared to performing?

JP –Modelling and performing are very differentelements of expression. Performing acrobatics in Cirque du Soleil envelopes all of my physical being.It’s the kind of situationwhere I push myself from the depths of my soul; however the audience can only see the kinetic body because I’m coveredin a mask. Modelling on the other hand is an expression where I get to expose a glimmer of who I am throughimages, trying to shine amoment or perception of who I am in that frame of time. However, at the end of the day I am neither of these things, but honouredto have different platforms of expression.

SM –How do you prepare before a shoot?

JP –Before a shoot, I’ll do a quick full body workout to get the blood pumping. The most important thing for me in a shoot is the music. It doesn’t matterwhat kind of music, but there has tobe something to conjure up and express.

SM –What do you enjoy the most about modelling? You have worked with some amazingphotographers. Do you have a favourite shoot?

JP –I have to say that I loved working with all thephotographers I shoot with, but what makes them my favourite isn’t so much the pictures created, but theenthusiasm and passion theybring to the shoot. I love seeing other people exuberant about their work and when they have this quality it makes mewant to thrive in my own endeavours. It’s a beautiful thing. I love seeingcreativity take control of the situation and to see our own ego surrender to this authentic power. This tome is one of the sweet flavours in the honey of life.

SM –You have just finished writing a book: Acrobaddict: A Contortionist's Heroin Romance... Could you tell us what motivated you to write it?

JP – This story wanted to be told. After competing in gymnastics around the age of 17, I became a falling down Cocaine, Klonopin, and Alcoholic, which ultimately led me to Heroin. I had an endless struggle through the catacombs of Hell but through persistence, desperation, and unconditional love from many bright lights, I got clean. Through that time I kept journals through the darkest parts of my past, documenting every scar and battle. I had been writing since I was young, an art-form that fully enveloped my entire being, and people often told me, “You have to write your story, not for yourself, but because it may help others.” I have to admit, I was a little unsure about writing a memoir, but the story itself haunted me until I finished it. The entire experience was humbling and I am quite proud of the end result. Through my past and pain, I have created another version of myself built structurally through metaphors and personifications. In an essence: it is a literary Joe.

SM –When will it be available?

JP –If the Gods are good to me, it should beavailable in a year.

SM –The video about you is an amazing insight into your life and you come acrossas an incredibly open and honest person. Should we expect the same frankness inthe book?

JP – Yes, the book goes into the dark parts of myself, opening up a mirror to the reader, to ultimately see the truth of who we are: nothing human is ugly. Most of us are experiencing the same degrees of pain, anxiety and sadness. It is only through our lenses that we exhibit these emotions, but many of us have found unique ways to hide our pain. What I’m essentially saying is: we are truly ... all the same.

SM –Besides performing and modelling, what gets your interest and what are yourhobbies? If you have any time left, that is!

JP –I have a very limited amount of free time ontour, and if I have time I will try and seek out other forms of inspirations to fill the well of creativity. I dohave an unusually busy demeanour,and because of this I am not very social. I do miss out on some events the other cast members enjoy, but I lived an entirelife of excessive pleasure and am now doing something different. I just started a fiction book aboutEugenics called, “The Day Heaven Fell”,but it’s still in its conceptual phase, so lately I’ve just been walking around with my iPod trying to find the hidden muse’sbehind the story. I wish I were more social, but the work and art demands my vessel at the moment and ifI don’t surrender to it, I don’tsleep well (Joe laughs).

SM –What do you do to have fun and relax?

JP –Relaxing? Are you serious? (Stunning Menlaugh!)

SM –Do you have any role models? People who inspire you?

JP –My role models tend to be mundane and humble,mainly people I work with or who work with me in sobriety. Sometimes I see someone at my job who has beenworking hard for months,and they then become role models. I guess I’m always walking towards the light of the human soul because I’ve lived thealternative.

SM –Now a few fun questions if we may? Do you think you are a good date?

JP – Do I think I’m a good date? Hmmm ... I guess I’m the wrong person to ask that question and you would have to ask the dater. However, I’m not dating at the moment and I am working through the parts of myself that I don’t know so well. Nothing like writing around the question, but it is time for me to do this deep spiritual work.

SM –What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

JP –You will have to read the book to know what thecraziest thing I’ve ever done was. (Joe gives us his beautiful sexy smile)

SM –Are you a brief man or a boxer kinda guy?

JP –I am a brief man, definitely.

SM –What kind of music do you listen to on your iPod?

JP –I am addicted to music, but usually go back to the music I listened to as ateen. I was one of those alternative 90’s kids, so the music that comforts meis definitely alternative rock.

SM –One last question Joe, where do you see yourself and what would you like to bedoing in 10 years time?

JP –In ten years I see myself still writing, as itis my strongest voice. In the next few years I will try other forms of art, hopefully in the physicalsense, but will do my best to keep trying to help others achieve sobriety. After all, it is my life’s purpose and I amhonoured and blessed I know what my purpose it.

StunningMen – Steven, a warm welcome to Stunning Men and thank you for accepting dothis interview with us.

Steven Dehler– Thank you for having me (Steven gives us his stunning smile)

SM –Could we start by talking a little about your background and childhood?

SD – Sure.I was born in Simi Valley, CA where I grew up and my family still currentlylives. My family is originally from Long Island, but they moved out toCalifornia a couple years before I was born. I grew up in what some would sayis the epitome of suburbia (Just picture Desperate Housewives, butwith less murder).

SM – Howdid you come to modelling? Is this something you thought you’d do one day?

SD – Wellno, I actually had really low self-esteem when I reached high school. I wasvery skinny and had severe acne issues. I was always the kid that wore bigbaggy jeans and sweatshirts, even in the hotter months, to hide the body that Iwas insecure about. It wasn’t until I was nineteen that I thought I couldpossibly get into modelling. I pretty much owe that to my best friend who I hadmet around then. She had been modelling since she was fourteen and was, and is,the most beautiful girl I’ve ever met. She told me I should consider modelling andI thought to myself if someone this beautiful thinks I should model, then maybeI should try it out.

SM –Could you tell us about your very first modelling assignment?

SD – Asmost models know, your first few photo shoots are TFP (trade for photos).Unless you’re one of the lucky ones who get discovered off the bat you usuallyneed to build a portfolio first. My first photo shoot I did was with my bestfriend. She and I drove to Palm Springs to shoot with Adam Bouska, who is thephotographer for the NO H8 campaign. This was long before that though. I had alot of fun shooting with her and I shot a couple more times with Adam. One ofwhich landed me the cover of Buzz magazine.

SM – Youare already an experienced model and have worked with diverse photographers. Doyou have a favourite shoot?

SD – I’vedone a lot of various degrees of photo shoots. But my most enjoyable experiencewould be when I shot an episode of America’s Next Top Model. It was a long day,but everyone was having a great time and it was fun being behind the scenes. Itwas nothing like I had done in the past. It hasn’t aired yet so be sure tocheck out next season to catch the episode.

SM – Youhave the ideal physique for fashion modelling. Do you have a preference betweenfashion and fitness modelling?

SD – Ienjoy both. Although a week of fitness/swimwear modelling can be a bit moretiring than fashion. What most people don’t realize is that you have to reallyfocus on controlled muscle flexing in fitness and swimwear modelling. So after5-6+ of constant flexing for extended periods of time your body definitely getsfatigued. But those shoots also tend to not take as long.

SM – Howdifferent is it to model for one or the other?

SD – Wellfor fashion it’s all about being a little edgy, but maintaining focus on whatyou’re actually selling. You want to pull the viewers eyes onto you, but alsomake them want to own what you’re wearing. Fitness is more on the side ofpulling the viewer onto you and making them want you/want to have your body.I’ve done more fashion than fitness modelling although some might confusemodelling underwear and swimwear more fitness than fashion. But in the endyou’re still selling a product.

SM – Howdo you prepare before a shoot?

SD – I’llusually hit the gym in the morning and do a brief workout in all muscle groupsto pump them up. I’ll also eat a small snack. Most importantly I’ll get a goodnight’s rest the night before. No photographer likes bags under the eyes. Theless Photoshop they have to do the better.

SM – Whatdo you enjoy the most about modelling?

SD – Ienjoy the travelling. I haven’t travelled overseas yet, but believe me that’snext on my list.

SM – TheTimoteo shoot is very sexy and edgy - we can say that your physique is verysuited to underwear modelling - and looking at your portfolio, you seem to likeedgy work.

SD – WhenI first started modelling I would look at a lot of campaigns and magazines and whenI would see one shot where it would make me think, “Damn I wish I had donethat.” It would inspire me to try and come up with unique ideas of my own. Ilike working with Timoteo because we come up with some really great shots thatI think not only attracts people to his clothing line, but also inspires othermodels and photographers to create something great. Timoteo and I have a greatchemistry in our shoots. While he has a comprehensive idea in mind he also letsme do my thing and together we come up with some sexy shots. With underwearthere’s only so much you can do so it’s not an easy task to come up withsomething that hasn’t been done before.

SM – You have done some nude shoots. How do you find beingnaked in front of the camera?

SD – At first I was shy about it. After a while it becamemore comfortable to where now it doesn’t bother me being naked in front ofpeople. However, I still stick to my guns that I won’t be doing any fullfrontal and I intend on keeping it that way.

SM - Do you have any tips to get things more comfortableduring a nude shoot?

SD – People are going to notice if you’re uncomfortable ornot. The worst is seeing a photo of a guy who is naked and you can see thatexpression of nervousness and fear in his face. It’s all in the eyes – theterror. Just do what you’re comfortable with. All the photographers I’ve workedwith were very respectful of my boundaries and made it very relaxed and comfortable.If you’re shooting with someone who is pushing you to do things that are makingyou uncomfortable, then you probably shouldn’t be working with that person.

SM – Youhave an amazing physique. What kind of exercises do you do to keep in topshape? Do you practice any sports?

SD – Idid sports when I was younger. My main sport being soccer – I played that forabout twelve years. After high school I began working out at the gym. Bulkingup was a long and difficult process, but in the end I find it much moreself-gratifying than taking alternate routes. Currently, I work out about 4-5hours a week to maintain my physique.

SM – Do you have any projects or photoshoots coming up?

SD – Ihave a few things lined up. Most notice for castings and photo shoots, ifyou’re lucky, are about 24 hours advanced notice. But definitely keep your eyespeeled. I’ve got some big things in mind for 2012.

SM – Is there a photographer you haven’t worked with whom youwould really like to work with and why?

SD – I love Rick Day’s work. He takes stunning shots of hismodels. I’ve yet to see a photo he’s taken that isn’t beautifully shot. Anotherphotographer I want to work with is Bruce Weber who is the photographer forAbercrombie. I love his style and it’s now become somewhat a vintage look.Maybe one of these days I’ll book that campaign. We’ll see!

SM– Besides modelling, what gets your interest and what are your hobbies?

SD – Another route I was considering taking other thanmodeling was being a musician. I’ve played the piano for about 18 years and wasconsidering going to college majoring in that. But in the end I decided to keepit as a hobby and I still don’t regret that decision. Every now and then I’llget a gig playing the piano. I always try to keep up with it even though myschedule can get pretty hectic.

SM – One of your favourite quotes is by EarthaKitt "I am learning all the time. The tombstone will be my diploma."Is this a motto you live by?

SD – Absolutely. This past year hasbeen a huge learning experience for me and I feel that there is still plentyout there for me to learn. No experience should be left thinking it was a wastebecause everything you experience has something to teach you. I think whatEartha Kitt meant by that quote is that people are constantly changing anddeveloping and that we should be open to that.

SM – What do you do to have fun and relax?

SD – Aquiet night in with a funny movie and a pizza is all I need. Some good companydoesn’t hurt either.

SM – Do youhave any role models? People who inspire you?

SD – Mybest friend inspires me every day. Without her I don’t think I’d be where I’mat now and she pushes me to go even further and makes me believe that I can.

SM – Ifyou weren’t modelling, what would you be doing?

SD – Ireally couldn’t say. Modelling has been a goal of mine for a long time. My planwas always to attend college, get my degree, and then pursue modelling. When Ireally want something I have a lot of drive in achieving it. Luckily for me,want is only part of it. The rest I can thank my parents for. It is geneticsafter all (Steven laughs)

SM – Doyou think you are a good date?

SD – (Stevenlaughs) Oh you’d have to ask those I’ve gone on dates with for that one. I’dsay if we’re not laughing a lot on a date, then it’s not a good date.

SM –What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

SD – Ihaven’t done many crazy things. Ask me again in a few years.

SM – Areyou a brief man or a boxer kinda guy?

SD – Wellalong with modelling I also go-go dance so I’m always wearing various types ofunderwear. And that’s about the only time I actually wear underwear. So toanswer your question, neither! (Steven gives us a wink and a smile)

SM – Whatdo you listen to on your iPod?

SD – Ilove pop. I love music that makes you want to dance and also pumps you up atthe gym. Most people who know me know the first artist playing in my iPod isBritney Spears. I love that girl! (more laughter). Also can’t forget Beyonce.That woman knows how to work a stage.

SM – Onelast question Steven, where do you see yourself and what would you like to bedoing in 10 years time?

It's this time of the year when we look back at the past 12 months and we can't believe it is already nearly over!

12 months and over 85 models featured. 2011 saw the introduction of interviews with models, and photographers being featured and interviewed too. More of this in 2012!

In order to make Stunning Men a little more interactive, next year we will introduce a monthly poll to elect the Stunning Man of the Month, which will culminate with the Stunning Man of the Year vote towards the end of December.

Tyler has an awesome physique and we are very excited to be featuring him at Stunning Men. Many thanks to Tyler for the biography and to Gary Gonzalez at NorCalBodz for the photos.

Tyler grew upin Sacramento, CA in a family of six kids. He is number four and the first bornson. Tyler and his siblings were raised to work hard and earn everything theyhave. Every summer from the time he was eight years old, his dad would take himto work with him while he built custom houses. Tyler learned the value of adollar and how hard you had to work to put food on the table for a family of eight.

When he was 16, Tyler did home school for one semester with his 15 year oldbrother while working with his dad. This was when they started trainingtogether in the gym. They started experimenting with weight lifting, notknowing what they were doing but they both were inspired to be fit and lookbig. Tyler continued lifting weights through high school, playing sports, andstriving for the perfect body. After high school his parents, and eventually hiswhole family, moved away. Tyler decided to stay, but made sacrifices to supporthimself all on his own, like not working out. He had no help from anyone so heworked multiple jobs and did gruelling work just to pay the rent.

A few years later while working he fell and dislocated his rotator cuff. Thedoctor gave him the option to have surgery or do physical therapy. He chosephysical therapy, which began his quest to develop the ultimate body andstrength. Tyler remembers the three words that helped him stay focused:determination, dedication and discipline. The three Ds. He was determined tobecome the best of the best, dedicated to giving fitness his all anddisciplined enough to set and achieve his own standards. This is how he got tothe fitness level he is now. If he could thank one person for helping himachieve his goal it would be his workout partner of the last seven years, whotaught him more than he ever knew about body building and the correct eatinglifestyle.

Tyler is a very confident person who is always motivated by new challenges andopportunities that come his way. He has a very professional work ethic and alwaysput his work first, while maintaining a fun attitude. He is very much enjoyingthe fitness modelling industry and seeking to collaborate with superiorphotographers!

Here is the interview in full

Stunning Men – Hi Paul, a warm welcome to Stunning Men and abig thank you for agreeing to answer our questions.

Could we start with talking a little about your backgroundand childhood?

Paul Talbot – I grew up just north of Philly at the base ofthe Pocono Mountains. I was the middle child with an older sister and a youngerbrother and parents that were married for over 50 years. We had very little growing up, but had lotsof love in the family.

SM – Was modelling something you always wanted to do?

PT – No not at all; and it still seems strange at times thatpeople want to shoot me.

SM – How did you become a model then?

PT – I started after being approached after my firstbodybuilding contest when I was 42, and off it went from there.

SM – What do you enjoy the most in modelling?

PT – I love seeing all the diverse ways the photographers canmake me look. Sometime I’ll see theshots and think that is not my personality at all but the photographer was ableto bring out a different side of me with clothes or lighting.

SM – How do you prepare before a photoshoot?

PT – I always stay fairly lean but about 3 weeks before ashoot I start drinking more water and trying to stay away from salt. The 2 days prior to the shoot I cut off thewater, no water for 36 hours, then eat a salty high carb meal late the nightbefore the shoot. Sometimes I spray tanbut my skin is fairly dark to start.

SM – Have you done nude shoots? If so, how do you find beingnaked in front of the camera?

PT – Yes I have, with Mark Henderson in Dallas. Mark had mefeel very comfortable and it was a fun shoot. Since then I have done none, since those picture have little value to mepersonally.

SM – Do you have any tips to get things more comfortableduring a nude shoot?

PT – First you have to have complete trust in thephotographer, second lay out what you are willing to do, and not willing to dofor the camera. That way there is no questionand the shoot will be more relaxed.

SM – Have you done any runway work?

PT – None, I’m too big! Most designers want a coat hanger todisplay their work. I would do underwear or sportswear, I have just never beenpicked, my age turns most folks off in the modelling business.

SM – What kind of exercises do you do to keep intop shape? Do you practise any sports?

PT – I lift free weights 5 days a week and do a 30 minutecardio session 3 to 4 times a week.

SM – What do you like wearing when you are not working as amodel?

PT – I’m a jeans and T-shirt guy. I like to get dressed upfor an event but those are rare.

SM – What do you think about the modelling industry?

PT – It’s tough. Lucky for me I have a good day job that paysthe bills. I have been told by agencyowners that there is no market for someone like me due to age, and I think thatis crazy but I haven’t been able to make them realise that us older guys don’ttake ads seriously when the guys are 20; we can’t relate so we fly right onpast them.

SM – Do you have any role models in the fashion world? Peoplewho inspired you to pursue a modelling career?

PT – Gregg Plittis the god of fitness modelling.

SM – Besides modelling, what gets your interestand what are your hobbies?

PT – I enjoy outdoor sports, skiing, hiking, and traveling,but I also like to lie on the beach and watch the sights walk past and drink acold beer.

SM – What do you do to have fun and relax?

PT – Ride my bike, workout, hang out with friends, try newplaces and new experiences.

SM – What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

PT – Can’t say that here, but 99% of the time I am verystable and stay within the lines!

SM – Are you a brief man or a boxer kinda guy?

PT – Brief or none. Mybutt is big enough, I don’t need to try and stuff boxers into my pants.

SM – Who are your favourite singers or musicians and what dolike to listen to?

PT – I like top 40 stuff, fun relaxing music if I am justlistening. If out dancing more tribal orhouse music is good.

SM – We know that you have to watch what you eat; but do youhave any guilty pleasures?

PT – I’m not a sweet tooth guy and I don’t drink or eat anymilk products so that keeps me off the hook for a lot of things. I do like to eat just plain crackers likewheat thins, or cheese nip and somehow the box always gets empty fast!

SM – If you weren’t modelling, what would you be doing?

PT – I would probably be in worst shape and just sittingaround. Modelling keeps me motivated to stay on top of my game.

SM – Do you have any projects or photoshoots coming up?

PT – I have just done a shoot with Sebastian Barone and I am shooting with Kevin Hoover for a projecthe is working on. Also being a guesthost of a cooking show that highlights cooking health to grow your muscle andreduce fat; it should be fun!

SM– One last question Paul, where do you see yourself and what would you like tobe doing in 10 years time?

PT– Hopefully everything will be the same, life is good. The challenge is trying to maintain a youthfullook over time.

Stunning Men – Welcome to Stunning Men Andrew and thank you for taking the time to answer our questions. We are thrilled to be able to finally feature you. Could we start by talking a little about your background and childhood?

Andrew Corvin – I'm Cuban American with Italian and French as a background. Bit of a mix! (Andrew laughs)

SM – How did you come to modelling?

AC – Um ... I guess you can say I gave in to what people have been telling me for years now. Hahh

SM – Is this something you thought you’d do one day?

AC – Can't say it was to tell you the truth. I'm sorta camera shy so this is still kind of a shock to me.

SM – You are fairly new to modelling but you have already done several shoots, notably with Jorge Freire, Edwin J’Lebron and recently David Vance. Could you tell us a bit about these shoots?

AC – Yeah! It's still surreal to me to be honest. To have worked with some of the few that I admire so much is so cool for me still (Andrew laughs). They each have such a unique look to their work and I love that about them. You can tell right off the bat whose work is whose. I like that everytime I work with different photographers they bring their own feel and element to the shoot with them. You have Jorge that just makes you look like a god almost. He knows what people wanna see and that's sex! But not giving the crowd the full on - hey this is me and this is what I got! - he kinda teases you if you will. And then you have Edwin who just makes you look so good. He does so good with fashion and yet can also do fitness, and that's awesome I think. They both make you feel like family and take care of you when they're working with you. They're both so humble and good at what they do. And then you have David. I don't even think I need to say much on him. He's a legend in the game. He makes you look like a portrait painting. It's crazy! All in all they each have been a learning experience for me and I can't wait to work with them again.

SM – How do you prepare before a shoot?

AC – Oh boy! (Andrew laughs some more) ... Where do I start. Well, I like for the photographers to give me at least two weeks notice. Reason being I go to the gym and go hard. I also get on a really strict diet, and that basically means low carbs, which sucks for me (more laughter). I mean for the simple fact of m background, we eat carbs with pretty much everything. So yeah, low carbs, high protein and greens. Also three days before I try not to even eat any carbs at all to really look lean. I pretty much live off egg whites. The day of the shoot I eat a banana for fiber, dark chocolate to open my veins and let more blood flow so when I do the shoot I get all the veins pumping and tense. I eat some sweet potato on the day as well to retain water in my system and that makes you look ripped! No liquids either on the day.

SM – What do you enjoy the most about modelling?

AC – I'd have to say the experience of it all really. I never saw myself as "a model" so now that I'm into it, it's kinda cool for me. I mean for one, I've never been to Puerto Rico before and I got to experience that for the first time because of modelling. And meeting these photographers has been incredible for me. They're like freaks of nature! They make magic happen with just a camera (Andrew laughs).

SM – You have an amazing physique. What kind of exercises do you do to keep in top shape? Do you practise any sports?

AC – (more laughs) thanks.

SM - But you do!

AC - I wish I could tell you I was into something cool like a sport or something. But no. I have no time for anything like that. I just go to the gym five times a week. I wish I could take up kickboxing though ... I love that.

SM – Do you have any projects or photoshoots coming up?

AC – Yes. Yes I do. I have three shoots coming soon with all three of the photographers I've worked with as well as one with Evie Lynn after the holidays. I really can't wait for this. She has this look that I really wanna try out. I think it'll be good for me. As well as just working with a woman photographer for the first time, I'm sure that'll be an experience. Hopefully one with Rick day soon too. Let's see if I find my way to New York soon to make that happen.

SM – Is there a photographer you haven’t worked with whom you would really like to worked with and why?

AC – Yeah, I really wanna work with Rick Day and Luis Rafael. I love the

work and style they use in their work. And one day if I make it big and I can get the attention of Herb Ritts and work with him, I'll know then I made it (Andrew flashes his gorgeous smile and laughs again).

SM – Would you consider doing a nude shoot if you really trusted the photographer?
AC – If I trust the photographer and I know he'll make me look good then yeah. Why not? But in order to do nude work I wanna make it big and have a name for myself first. I don't just wanna be looked at like a piece of meat and get down to my birthday suit and then that's it.

SM – Besides modelling, what gets your interest and what are your hobbies?

AC – I'm so boring to be honest. I like to just chill at the beach sippin' on a piña colada or going to a Hookah bar or relaxing with some good friends. Coffee always works too! Other than that it's just gym or the movies. I'm a big time movie critic.

SM – What do you do to have fun and relax?

AC - Beach. Perks of living in paradise, you can just jump in your car and beach it (Andrew laughs).

SM – Do you have any role models? People who inspire you?

AC – Hands down it's Marco Dapper. I found out about him believe it or not searching through google for a new hair cut (more gorgeous laugh). I was looking through celebrities' hair cuts and came across him, then I saw his work as a model, so I guess when I go into shoots I think alright ... what can I do to look like him in photoshoots? (Andrew laughs some more) ... Him and Johnny Depp. That guy is a genius with his work and how passionate he is with it. I'd like to do that but with modelling obviously.

SM – If you weren’t modelling, what would you be doing?

AC – Probably get into personal training or something like that. I love the whole healthy way of living and since I was helped with mytraining, I came a long way, maybe one day I can give that back in return.

SM – Do you have any motto you live by?

AC – "I call em' like I see em"!

SM – So, do you think you are a good date?

AC – I hope so ... (Andrew laughs) No complaints yet. None that I'm aware of anyways! I guess the next lucky girl will have to find out.

SM – What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?

AC – Hahh! I guess I'll say skinny dipping with a group of friends couple of years back. I'm not too crazy. I wanna try out skydiving though! I think that's pretty crazy.

SM – Are you a brief man or a boxer kinda guy?

AC – Briefs all the way man!

SM – What do you listen to on your iPod?

AC – I live in Miami. So with that being said. A s*** load of House music. And recently have been listening to a lot of Dubstep; a friend got me into that last year. But other than that, I'm pretty much open to everything. Everything except Country or hard core Hip Hop. I just can't man! (more laughs)

SM – What do you do usually do at Christmas?

AC – I spend it with my family. Nothing like spending Christmas with the ones you really love! (Andrew gives us a cheeky wink and his beautiful laughter)

SM – One last question Andrew, where do you see yourself and what would you like to be doing in 10 years time?

AC – If this modelling thing doesn't take me far, then I guess find my true calling. I'd like to travel most of the world. Hoping modelling can help out on that part (more laughs).

If not that then probably get into personal training. Who knows really? I'm a random kinda guy.
