Here's Oscar's interview in full

Oscar, welcome to Stunning Men and a big thank you for taking the time to do the interview. You are from Perth, Western Australia.

Yes, born in Australia with a Japanese and South American background.

How would you describe yourself?
If I had to describe myself in one sentence it's that I live life to the fullest and with no regrets.

What's your life philosophy?

I'm nineteen years old and I love new experiences and will always keep my doors open to new and bright ideas.

So how did you get into modelling?

It's a bit of a messy back story but Chrystofa found me on social media and asked me to join CSA.

What do you think is the most fulfilling thing about modelling?

There are many things I find fulfilling about modelling but for me the best is the fact that it's a new experience and if you know me well you'll know I love trying new things. The experience being that I get to meet new and in a lot of cases, very different people. It's great meeting and working with people who are as open minded as Chrys for example as it's what this world needs more of. That for me is the most fulfilling part of modelling.

How comfortable are you in showing off your physique in a shoot?
Being open minded I'm very comfortable showing off my physique. I see modelling and photography as an art that you can be as creative as you like with. There are no limitations to what you can do with your body which is where I find the beauty in showing off mine or anyone's physique, no matter what race, ethnicity or body shape you have.

You are looking incredible. How on earth did you get into such shape?

For my entire life Bruce Lee has been a truly invaluable inspiration to expressing my body. In the past year or so I have read books based on countless exercises and techniques he used to form a very unique and almost never-before-seen physique. Through this I have been inspired to put together my own 5 to 6 day-a-week exercise routine with the main goal of creating an all-round, lean and muscly body shape. A great asset to both modelling and maintaining a healthy life style.

When did your passion for fitness start?

I have always had a passion for fitness. My entire life I have always been doing at least one type of sport. Sometimes I would have been doing up to three sports, several times a week. At the moment I have found a passion for working out and exercising which has bought the most out of my fitness. It allows me to gain strength in almost every part of my body and that's why I enjoy it so much. There are many different variations to working out and that's what makes it entertaining and interesting for me. Through fitness I aim to move onto one of two sports; either hip hop dance or mixed martial arts.

What keeps you determined and driven to work out?

My body is my engine and if I don't take care of it, it's not going to run well. I live a very busy lifestyle and need the most energy I can get so working out, staying fit and eating healthy are the most effective means of gaining that. My other main inspiration is as I have mentioned before, Bruce Lee. Much of my interest in his work is pointed towards what he was able to accomplish and do with his body.

What is your diet like?

My diet is quite well balanced. It consists of a lot of protein, fruit, green vegetables, a moderate amount of carbohydrates and a lot of water. My meal plan fluctuates and is not 100% consistent but I do try to keep it on par. I also take several supplements a day that help with my physical and mental well-being. These include multivitamins, muscle relaxants and liver detoxes. I never thought I could do it but I've just about given up eating bad food and will rarely eat out.

If you had a cheat day, what would be your favourite food?

If I feel like it I'll make Friday my cheat day where I go to MadMex and order a one kilogramme steak burrito. It's actually a challenge they have for customers where if you finish the burrito in store you win a luchador mask. Winning it makes me feel less bad about cheat day.

Can you share your fitness regimen with us?

My weekly fitness regime consists of working out Monday, Wednesday and Friday and doing cardio Tuesdays, Thursdays and some Saturdays. As I am lifting heavier weights to gain muscle I like to give myself a one day break between workouts to do cardio. This allows my muscles to regenerate to their fullness and for the cardio to lean my muscles out more. In terms of my workouts I'm currently doing heavy circuit training. This helps me get the most out of both muscle building and cardio. My circuit workout helps pump blood to all parts of my body which allows my muscles to work more effectively and helps get the most out of my workouts. The cardio part of the circuit helps me build stamina.

And what’s the best form of cardio for you?

My favourite type of cardio is definitely running. I will usually go for a thirty minute run to the beach and back on cardio days but the best thing about running is that you don't need a bicycle as you do with cycling or a pool if it were swimming for example. You can do it almost anywhere you like which is what keeps me motivated to keep doing it.

Now a few quick fun questions if we may? Do you think you are a good date?

Good question, I think I've only ever been on 2-3 proper dates in my life. I don't consider myself very interesting to most as I'm quite shy to start off with and don't socialise very much but in saying that I'm always a gentleman with the women I have been on a date with. I'd prefer going on spontaneous dates such as outdoor activities, stealing street signs with your name on it, three course meals at three different restaurants etc. which may be why I haven't been on many dates.

Your favourite song or piece of music to play while training or running?

I don't usually listen to music while exercising simply because I work out at home and am too lazy to set up a playlist but it doesn't really worry me. When I had a gym membership I did like their playlist that had mainly dubstep or house music.

Do you have any other passions besides fitness?
I love nature and animals more than anything. Adventuring and being in the wilderness is what I thrive off of most weekends. Helping conserve this planet is what I'm most passionate about and being amongst the natural world just makes me fall in love with it more and more. I also love spending quality time with friends and family and just anyone I value. I respect everyone I value because they're the ones that will always be there for me and accept me for who I am so I think it's important for me to be with those people the most.

What can’t you live without?

Whiskey and double shot black coffee with six sugars. I don't drink either of them much but I do dread a day I may be without them both. Yes six sugars. No it's not good for me. Do I care? My answer depends on how much whiskey I put in my coffee.

Could you finish these two sentences for us? You wouldn’t know, but I’m very good at …

… gaining the trust of a dog. You know how some people have trouble with dogs not liking them when they first meet them. I never have that problem, it's like I'm a dog whisperer.

Now ... I’m just not very good at …

… deciding what I want to order at restaurants. Something along the lines of a very specific five step elimination process with terms and conditions makes it sound like I've made my point.

One last question Oscar, what is your big dream?

My biggest dream is to never stop achieving goals in life. I would like to pay off my car. From there I'd like to study a degree in veterinary nursing. Open a vet clinic and help save as many animals as I can at as low of a cost as I can. Save money and travel to parts of the world where things such as animal homelessness or trafficking is an issue. I'd like to establish foundations that will provide support to those who are helping save this planet and to educate the younger generation about how we can maintain and prolong the life of our natural world. All these goals come down to one big dream to complete them all and if possible do more. I will never stop trying to achieve and better myself.
