Stunning 19 year old Arthur Sales Gouveia was born in Recife Pernambuco, Northeast Brazil. He comes from a mix family background, Italian and Brazilian.
This no doubt contributed to his gorgeous looks! He now lives in New York City.
Arthur attended a law school before starting his modelling career.
His very first `assignment‘ was when his mum entered him in a beauty contest at the age of 10 and he won and I won a bike!
Arthur’s career started when a friend of his introduced him to EP Models agency with the support of the owner and agent Elizabeth Pontes.
His most memorable moment was his first international job at a fashion show for Dsquared2 in Miami.
Arthur got the editorial for Vanity Fair with Shakira; he was at the Dsquared Backstage and one man stopped him and started taking pictures of him and a few days later he was shooting with Arthur for Vanity Fair.
Arthur’s most amazing assignment has to be getting the cover and 200 pages of the prestigious French magazine L'Officiel Hommes Paris with photos by Milan Vukmirovic. A feat never seen before.
When he is not modelling Arthur enjoys travelling, sightseeing, going to the gym, playing foot volley and surfing.
Though Arthur is very young, his gorgeous looks and stunning physique – have you seen his 8 packs! – combined with a sweet friendly personality has helped his career take off very quickly and has allowed him to do a lot.
His favourite sports are surf, soccer and Jiu-jitsu. He used to play soccer at school.
To relax Arthur likes listening to Jack Johnson, gospel music, hip hop, sometimes he likes surf music (whatever that is), reggae, Brazilian songs, Pagode is like samba.
Arthur has worked with photographers such as Greg Vaughan, Milan Vukmirovic, Jonathan Wolpert, Cristiano Madureira and Ronald Fred. He is now represented by Major Model Management in New York.
